UNITED STATES/ALERT: Former U.S. Secy of State Alexander Haig passes away

UNITED STATES | Former Reagan Secretary of State Alexander Haig (R) passed away last Saturday at the age of 85. Haig served as President Ronald Reagan (R-CA)’s Secretary of State from 1981-1982. He also served as Presidents Richard Nixon (R-CA) and Gerald Ford (R-MI) ‘s Chief of Staff from 1973-1974 (Watergate scandal era). He also a decorated Veteran of the Vietnam and Korean Wars. Haig also served as U.S. Army Allied Supreme Commander in Europe from 1974-1979.
